Here are just a few ways that you can help stop the violence within your school:

• Ask your principal about adopting a violence prevention program within your school.

• Go speak with your school resource officer and express your concerns about safety at school.

• Join with a group of people and take a pledge to make your school violence free.

• Ask your local law enforcement to come and speak to your school or class about solving problems in a positive manner.

• Learn how to become a peer mediator.

• Check out the national S.A.V.E website and encourage your school to adopt this program.
